This is an antique wooden bookend set, originally from England. It slides to extend to a maximum width of 23". When not extended, the bookends can hold a row of books 12" wide. The end pieces are 6.5" high.
Two hinges on each side allow the carved wooden end pieces to fold down for travel and storage. Red felt on the underside protects your shelves and furniture.
The ends and middle of the bookends are carved with vines, leaves, and flowers.
